Samoa Tourism hosts Industry Talanoa Meets

Samoa Tourism Authority successfully hosted a series of industry sessions in an effort to help enhance Samoa’s tourism products and services earlier this month.

The initiative saw the local tourism industry members invited to collaborate on issues covering tourism product offerings, marketing and promotion, research & statistics and policies for industry development.

Honorable Minister Toeolesulusulu Cedric Salesa Schuster shared his inspiring remarks emphasizing the need for tourism industry operators and STA to work together to increase the number of visitors to Samoa following the global Covid-19 pandemic.

“It is Samoa Tourism Authority’s goal to better promote and entice potential visitors to choose Samoa over other Pacific countries as a place to visit, relax and recuperate from the rigors of life” Hon Minister said.

Feedback from the interactive sessions hosted for Upolu and Savaii was noted and shared during the final Industry Meets held in Apia. It reflected on how best to improve Samoa’s tourism offerings and position as a preferred tourist destination in the Pacific region.
