Samoa Cultural Village Reopens
The conch shell calls and drum beats of the Samoa Cultural Village, located in the heart of the Apia CBD next to the FMFMII Government Building and adjacent to the Matagialalua Friendship Park on the Apia Waterfront, have once again come alive following its reopening in the first week of October.
Visitors will once again be able to add the popular attraction which celebrates Samoa’s cultural heritage on their bucket-list during a town-visit.
The Samoa Cultural Village is a highly-rated activity in Apia which provides guests with a fun and interactive way to engage with some of Samoa’s age-old traditions.
Tours are held Tuesday to Friday and feature live demonstrations including weaving, carving, tattooing, umu-making and siva Samoa performances backed by the live band in the main fale where visitors can observe and participate.
Activities start at 10:00am and run for approximately 2-3hours.
