Stevenson’s to reopen for the Festive Season

Stevenson’s at Manase on Savaii is set to reopen in time for the upcoming festive season despite uncertainties caused by the Covid- 19 pandemic.

The popular getaway on Savaií’s famed Manase coastline, has been completely closed and the main focus of the family-owned operation now is maintenance and restoration works on rooms and support facilities.

The resort temporarily re-opened for the successful 2nd Annual Savaii Palolo Festival in October, which generated a lot of interest and demand for accommodation together with other events and meetings which took place on the Big Island around the same time.

According to Ladesha Stevenson, planned upgrades were in the pipeline before the measles epidemic and Covid-Pandemic.

Stevenson added that there is a push to comeback-better before Christmas and acknowledged the need for creative sales and marketing initiatives as it returns to operation.

Stevenson’s at Manase offers a range of absolute beachfront accommodation, water and land-based activities and guests have the choice of swimming in the turquoise lagoon or relaxing in the pool. Its oceanside beach bar and restaurant is a popular spot to enjoy cold cocktails and amazing sunsets.
