Despite the downturn caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic, there is hope among tourism business operators on Savaii.

During a recent visit to the big island, the Associate Minister of Tourism Manuleleua Tovale reaffirmed government’s support to help the tourism industry.

Associate Minister Manuleleua used the opportunity to engage with the Executive Council of the Savaii Samoa Tourism Association (SSTA).

While tourism has been hardest hit by the Pandemic, operators have continued to offer the best hospitality they can during these tough times, and this is something that visitors to Savaii continue to enjoy especially during the recent Father’s Day weekend where most resorts and beach fales were booked out.

Savaii’s natural beauty and relaxed pace continue to be the main-drawcard for the domestic market.
