Travel Bubble discussions…safety a priority
Prime Minister Hon. Fiame Naomi Mata’afa has confirmed that Cabinet has given approval for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade to engage in discussions with their New Zealand and American Samoa counterparts about the possibility of travel bubbles with those countries.
The Prime Minister emphasised that the process would take time and involve thoroughly understanding what each country’s requirements and capabilities are to safely support two-way quarantine-free travel.
Samoa remains Covid free and the safety of the country continues to be paramount.
