Samoa Tourism restarts digital advertising in Australia
Samoa Tourism has reactivated its consumer digital advertising campaign in the Australian market on the back of positive developments. These include regional travel bubbles, the roll-out of the Covid-19 vaccine to the community and growth in travel intent and motivation among consumers.
According to Samoa Tourism Authority CEO, Faamatuainu Lenata’i Suifua, ‘the timing is right to reactivate our advertising campaign in Australia given regional developments as well as our own travel-ready programme which encompasses ongoing training activities, the vaccination programme and development of our own contact tracing app in collaboration with the Ministry of Health’.
The campaign continues to carry the ‘Beautiful Anticipation’ message and uses digital channels including social media and Google search to build engagement and drive traffic to the Samoa.travel portal. It follows the recent reactivation of consumer advertising in the New Zealand market.
