Samoa Tourism partners with Hotelbeds

HotelBeds

In preparation for the resumption of international travel, the Samoa Tourism Authority (STA) has partnered with one of the world’s largest travel distribution networks, Hotelbeds, to once again take Samoa’s tourism products to the forefront of the travel trade across Australia and New Zealand.

The partnership is part of STA’s  ‘Book Now, Travel Later’ campaign which aims to entice potential travellers to take advantage of the fantastic hotel and resort deals across Samoa. The campaign allows consumers to reserve their accommodation in advance and offers the flexibility to travel and stay within an extended time-period.

The initiative comes in response to growing travel intent and motivation among consumers in Samoa’s key source markets and follows planning and recent activities to re-engage the travel trade.

STA CEO Faamatuainu Lenata’i Suifua emphasises that ‘with regional travel bubbles in place and Samoa’s own travel-ready preparations and vaccine roll-out now well underway, the timing is right go to market with an offer’.

‘We are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and it is time to prompt the trade and strategically position Samoa’, added Faamatuainu.

Education and awareness are key components of the campaign which will see travel agents receive product information and updates. This will be followed by an incentivised approach to pre-selling products to clients.

With a database of over 28,000 agents across both Australia and New Zealand, Hotelbeds is well positioned to distribute Samoa products across its network which also includes over 2,000 tour operators and strategic partners.
