Try Something Different

As part of ongoing marketing efforts targeting the domestic market, the Samoa Tourism Authority recently launched its ‘Try Something Different’ campaign.

The initiative, which is part of Government’s strategic response to supporting the local industry during the Covid-19 Pandemic, promotes the range of tourism and hospitality products and services available in Samoa, with the ultimate call-to-action to the local market to try different things.

“The concept was developed internally by our Sales and Marketing team and we worked with local production company Sleeping Giant to bring it to life”, said Faamatuainu Lenataí Suifua, STA CEO. “The campaign was tactically timed to be launched ahead of the Easter and Election Holidays and it has been well received by the Samoa Hotels Association and Savaii Samoa Tourism Association”, added Faamatuainu.

The campaign is strongly supported by the Industry through accommodation specials, the scheduled flights between Upolu and Savaii during the holidays by national carrier Samoa Airways and inter-island ferry trips through Samoa Shipping Corporation.

Try Something Different is being promoted across multiple platforms including TV, radio, print and social media.
