Visit the South Pacific's Beauty Spot

Samoa kicked off its Australian tour as a main feature at the South Pacific Tourism Exchange (SPTE) 2016 before traveling to Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney for the Beautiful Samoa Australia Roadshow.

Several suppliers and service operators are traveling with Samoa Tourism Authority to showcase the beauty of Samoa and show industry professionals why their clients should choose the islands in a campaign dubbed ‘Visit Samoa 2016’.

Papali’i Sonja Hunter, CEO of Samoa Tourism Authority says that the SPTE is an excellent platform to gauge the level of interest in Samoa as well as engage in an exchange with key source market representatives to discuss strategies on how best to meet the needs of the different types of travelers Samoa attracts.

“What we have is similar to the SPTE in that we are everything that the South Pacific can offer in one destination: pristine environment, unique culture, friendly locals, delicious food and a variety of accommodation types to suit every budget".

The SPTE is at its third year, launched by the South Pacific Tourism Organisation for international buyers to converge in a one stop shop environment and meet 16 of the South Pacific’s island destinations to network, exchange and offer their latest deals and product updates.

Samoa Tourism Authority along with the following properties ensured Samoa was well represented at SPTE which took place on the Gold Coast during 20-21 May at the Sea World Resort Convention Centre.
